2011 Midwest Fastpitch Showcase

The showcase will be a one-day event where players will be able to show their skills to college coaches in a live setting. There will be a skills testing session followed by games. The skills test will include a 40 yard dash and a fielding test for infielders, outfielders, and catchers. Throwing speed will be clocked for all fielders undergoing the testing scenario. The players will then have the opportunity to compete against each other in a game setting throughout the afternoon on two separate fields to allow time for 2 games per team.

From Mt. Vernon:
    •Take US-HWY 30 West to I-380 South
    •Head South on I-380 to Exit 13 "Airport"
    •Turn right (West) on to Wright Brothers Blvd.
    •Watch for sign on North Side (approx. 0.6 miles from Exit 13 ramp)
From Waterloo:
    •Head South on I-380 to Exit 13 "Airport"

What to Bring: bat, batting gloves (optional), spikes, glove, uniform pants or shorts and sliding pad (optional), stirrups or colored socks, belt, catchers gear, etc...
